How can I be appointed to a city committee?
Committee application forms are available either from the City Clerk’s Office or from the City’s website.
 
How can I obtain copies of City Council Meeting agendas, minutes, staff reports ordinances, and resolutions?
City Council agendas and minutes for all meetings are posted on the City’s website.  Staff reports, ordinances, and resolutions can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office by submitting a written request via letter, email, or in-person.
How do I schedule a meeting with the City Manager?

I would like to request a Proclamation or Certificate of Commendation. Who do I talk to?
Contact the City Clerk to request a Proclamation or Certificate of Commendation. You may e-mail the City Clerk, call (562) 868-0511, ext. 7314, or use MySFS to send your request.

When are City Council Meetings?
City Council meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.  The business portion of each meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.; public presentations begin at 7:00 p.m.
