The City of Santa Fe Springs has compiled a list of resources to help assist our business community, employees and employers alike. This is important information in response to the COVID-19 pandemic regarding essential businesses, tax relief, financial assistance, employee relations, and many other related resources. Please click HERE to access the resource guide. 

USC

The USC Center for Economic Development will bring together representatives from banks and CDFIs to discuss how small businesses, and especially minority- and women-owned businesses can access capital from lenders. Experts from the lending institutions and technical assistance providers will discuss challenges faced by small businesses due to COVID-19, opportunities to access loans/grants, and resources available. The workshop will be held in an online format with multiple sessions and panelists.

Round 9 of the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant opened on September 9, 2021. This program will support small businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19 and the related health and safety restrictions. New applicants will need to apply at www.CAReliefGrant.com

California_Competes_Tax_Credit

The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California. Businesses of any industry, size, or location compete for over $180 million available in tax credits by applying in one of the three application periods each year. Applicants will be analyzed based on twelve different factors of evaluation, including number of full-time jobs being created, amount of investment, and strategic importance to the state or region.?The online application can be accessed at?www.calcompetes.ca.gov
