Computers & Printing Updated: Apr 5, 2022

The Library offers 17 free public access computers and 3 catalog only computers. We also offer 13 free public access computers at the William C. Gordon Learning Center, located at the Gus Velasco Neighborhood Center.

There is a maximum session limit of 60 minutes and a daily limit of 120 minutes, depending on availability.

Computers are unavailable 15 minutes before the library closes.

Library computers offer Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint) and Internet access (Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome).

Although Library staff is able to offer searching tips and answer some questions, staff cannot provide in-depth training on the use of the Internet or computer software, except in a class setting.

The Santa Fe Springs City Library uses a web filtering software on all public computers. For more information click here.

Users may not load personal software onto Library computers, save personal data to Library computer hard drive, or alter programs installed. Patrons are expected to abide by this computer use policy and library policies regarding behavior. Failure to use the computer stations appropriately and responsibly will result in the loss of computer privileges.

Printing is available at a cost of $0.15 per page for black & white and $0.50 per page for color.
