COVID-19 Business Updates

As of 7/17/2020 the City has enacted a Temporary Outdoor Dining Program subject to the guidelines above. If you are a restaurant eligible for a Temporary Outdoor Dining Permit click the picture above for more details and to download the application. All applications are free to apply and materials may be submitted via email to Jimmy Wong Department of Planning.

To help bring jobs back and revive the industry, the American Rescue Plan, signed into law by President Joe Biden, established the $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA will administer the funds to the hardest-hit small restaurants. For more information on eligibility and how to apply click the picture above.

The U.S. Small Business Administration will host a webinar tomorrow, Wednesday, April 28 covering the Restaurant Revitalization Fund program details and how to submit an application. The webinars will cover the same content. The webinar is limited to the first 20,000 registrants, however, it will be recorded and later posted on SBA's YouTube channel.

To assist in reviving the industry and bring back jobs, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will disperse $28.6 billion through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. The Shuttered Venue Operators (SVO) Grant program was established by The Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act, signed into law on December 27, 2020. The program includes $15 billion in grants to shuttered venues, to be administered by the Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance. Round 2 of California Competes Tax Credit applications open July 27th - August 17th with $80M in available tax credits. Webinars are also available for businesses prior to applying for the program. Click the picture above for more information.
