The City of Santa Fe Springs provides a safe and reliable transportation service, while meeting the needs of our transit dependent residents that rely on our service to remain a vibrant part of our community. We provide medical and nutritional transportation for Santa Fe Springs seniors, 60 years and older, and residents with disabilities. In addition, we provide a Metrolink shuttle to and from the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs Transportation Center and businesses north of Imperial HWY.

Hours of Operation Monday - Friday - Except Holidays (Orange County and 91 Lines)
A free shuttle is provided for industrial residents. The MetroExpress will arrive in the morning at the Transportation Center for pick up and will transport individuals to their place of business in Santa Fe Springs. In the afternoon, the MetroExpress will take individuals back to the Transportation Center.

For return trips, passengers for the Orange County Line must be ready for pick up 30 minutes prior to the train's departure time. Passengers for the 91 Line must be ready for pick up 45 minutes prior to the train's departure.
Medical Transportation
Transportation to medical and dental appointments is available for residents 60 years and older and
for persons with disabilities. Reservations are required at least one day in advance.
Transportation is provided to the cities of Downey, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs and Whittier, according to the following schedule:

Transportation Identification cards are available to seniors, 60 years and older, and to persons with disabilities.The card entitles patrons to utilize Route 3 and Medical Transportation services at no charge. The I.D. cards may be obtained at the Neighborhood Center (562) 692-0261.
EXCURSION PROGRAM
The City of Santa Fe Springs' Excursion Program is designed to assist senior, youth, and disabled groups in the City with free or subsidized excursions to attend educational, recreational or cultural events in the region. Groups may request a bus trip through the Transportation Services Office (562) 409-7572. All Confirmed Trips are listed below for the public to view. Groups are to post a list of their confirmed trips at a facility open to the public each month.

All trips funded through this program are open to the public with certain restrictions. Individuals wishing to participate in a trip should phone the Group’s contact number listed with the trip and inquire as to eligibility, availability, and any information that may pertain to the trip.
Taxi Voucher Program The Taxi Voucher Program supplements the Special Needs Service for Santa Fe Springs' seniors, 60 years or older, and persons with disabilities. The program assist with transportation Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Vouchers can be used to travel to and from the cities of Santa Fe Springs, Bellflower, Norwalk, Lakewood, Pico Rivera and Whittier. Vouchers are $1 each, and are worth up to $7 in taxi fare. Vouchers can be purchased at the Neighborhood Center or at City Hall.
