"I'm Going to College!"

Who we are?

The Santa Fe Springs Education-Business-Community Partnership was established as a result of RHALEC (Rio Hondo Area Latino Education Council), a community multi-organizational collaboration effort to enhance the educational success if students in the Rio Hondo Area. The group has affirmed the critical need to encourage students to sty in school and go to college. The I'm Going to College!?initiative will provide services and programs to students and their parents that will encourage educational attainment which in turn will have a direct impact on our community.

Our Goals?

  • Increase involvement of parents in their child's education.
  • Enhance parents ability to serve as educational advocates and coaches for children.
  • Encourage and support students to plan and focus on a college education.
  • Increase business and community commitment to student success.
  • Share information on available resources that will help students succeed.
  • ncrease college enrollment and reduce dropout rates in our community.
