Luis M. González, Councilmember
Luis (Louie) González was first elected to the Santa Fe Springs City Council in 1997. He served as Mayor from 2001-2002, 2005-2006, 2009-2010. Louie was born and raised in Santa Fe Springs and is a graduate of Santa Fe High School. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from California State University, Fullerton; Master's Degree in Education from Walden University.
Prior to his election to the City Council, Louie served as a Trustee to the Little Lake City School Board. He is a former President of the Association of Mexican American Educators - Little Lake Chapter, former Vice-President of the League of United Latin American Citizens #2859, and member of the Knights of Columbus #3678. Along with his many councilmember duties, Louie teaches 4th grade in the Norwalk-La Mirada School District. He is Co-Chair of the St. Pius X Fiesta Committee, and coaches girls basketball. Louie is married and the father of three daughters.

William K. Rounds, Councilmember
William (Bill) K. Rounds is serving his first term as a City Councilmember since being elected in November 2007. Bill was born in Concord, Massachusetts, moving to Santa Fe Springs with his parents in 1951. He attended local schools, graduating from Santa Fe High in 1968. Prior to his election to the City Council, Bill served as a Santa Fe Springs Planning Commissioner for nine years. He has been an active member of the Parks and Recreation, Santa Float, Rose Parade Float, Safe Neighborhood Team and 50th Anniversary Celebration Committees as well as a former Coach and Boardmember for the Metropolitan Little League.
Bill and his wife, Jennifer, have four adult children and two grandchildren.

Juanita A. Trujillo, Councilmember
Juanita Trujillo is serving her first term as a City Councilmember since being elected in November 2009. Juanita was born and raised in Santa Fe Springs and attended the local elementary and middle schools, and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1992.
Juanita is actively involved in the Community and has been a part of the Parks and Recreation Committee, Santa Float, Safe Neighborhood Team, Community Planning Committee, Sister City, and the Community Playhouse. Juanita also supports Santa Fe High School and has been a member of the Sports Club since 2008. Juanita and her husband, Luigi, have two children, Alyssa and Aliah.
