The Planning Commission is made up of five appointed officers and is responsible for making decisions (based on research and recommendations from the Planning Department) regarding development and improvements within the city. They review Development Plan Approvals; Conditional Use Permits; Modification Permits; Variances, Zone Changes and General Plan Amendments. The current Planning Commission members are:

• Michael Madrigal, Vice Chairperson
• Richard Moore, Commissioner
• Laurie Rios, Commissioner
• Frank Ybarra, Commissioner

The Planning Commission meets on the 2^nd & 4^th Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. City Hall (Council Chambers)
