Jay Sarno, Mayor

Elected November 5, 2013, Jay Sarno is serving his first term on the Santa Fe Springs City Council.  

Mayor Sarno was born in the Bronx, New York and moved to Santa Fe Springs in 1973.  He attended the local schools of Lakeview Elementary, Lake Center Middle School, and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1988.  He has been married to his wife Christina for seven years. Jay and Christina have one son, Dominic.

Mayor Sarno has been supportive of local schools and is currently serving on the Little Lake City School District’s Foundation.  Jay is owner of C J Concrete Construction; a family-run Santa Fe Springs-based construction company, which Jay has run for the past 16 years.
