The Community Program Committee presents excursion for residents. 
Join us each month as we explore new places. 
All you have to do is buy a ticket and leave the driving to us!

Two ticket per person may be purchased, unless otherwise stated.

All trips leave from and return to Town Center Hall, unless otherwise stated.

ALL ticket sales are final.  tickets are only good for the specified excursion
you signed up for and may not be transferred to future excursions.

Meals are at your own expense.

Residents of the City of Santa Fe Springs may register.
Non-residents may register two weeks prior to the date of the excursion.

Natural History Museum of L.A. County
Saturday, February 25
9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
$11 per Adult / $5 per child (3-12 years of age) / $8 for Seniors and 13-17

At the Natural History Museum, discover your world, past , and present.  In an amazing setting in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and adjacent the campus of USC, you will encounter dinosaurs, experience nature, explore dioramas, and marvel at one of the most impressive gem and mineral collections I the world through this self-guided tour.
There is a restaurant on site and food purchases will be at your expense.

Whale Watching - Long Beach
Saturday, March 18

$22 per person

Join us as we board one of Harbor Breeze Cruises custom designed boats made just for whale watching.  As we cruise the waters out of Long beach for 2 1/2 hours, we will be joined by an expert who will educate us about these magnificent creatures' behavior, migrator patterns, and diet.  We cannot guarantee the sighting of the Pacific Grey or California Blue whales as they sometimes play shy.  However, dolphins, sea lions, and other marine animals are bound to be seen. 

Huntington Library - Pasadena
Saturday, April 29

$22 per person - children under 4 are free

the Huntington Library and Gardens, located in beautiful San Marino, is a popular destination which houses a library, art collection, and spectacular gardens that attract tourists as well as some of the world's greatest scholars.  The Library and art gallery contain some of the rarest books under one roof and one of the complete collections of 18th=century art.  While enjoying the collection, two eateries - the Rose tea Room and the Café offer sandwiches, salads, or other light snacks and drinks.  Food will be are your own expense.

California Strawberry Festival - Oxnard
Saturday, May 20
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
$13 Adult, $5 Children 5-12, Children under 4 are free

the festival is held in Oxnard during the peak of harvesting season and celebrates all things strawberry.  Enjoy delicious strawberry delicacies such as crepes, nachos, parfaits, and even strawberry beer, as well as games, concert performances, and over 200 arts & crafts booths.  visit for more information.

there are no strollers on the bus, but you can rent one at the festival.  All food is at your own expense.
